Virtual Odyssey Mentoring Lunch & Learn: My Journey from CC to Google with Lea Hinderling CC'06

Join the Columbia College Alumni Association and Lea Hinderling CC'06 on Friday, April 17 from 1:00pm-2:00pm EST via Zoom to learn about Lea's journey from the College to Google.

Lea is a Platforms Technology & Data Lead at Google, where she supports travel marketers in their advanced data, marketing and analytics efforts. Lea has been at Google for nine years, working across advertising, cloud and now marketing technology sales. Prior to Google, she spent two years at Digitas. Lea had to navigate a difficult job market during the 2008 recession and is eager to support Columbia College students and alumni navigate these uncertain times.

Lea's interest in digital marketing sparked post college. She was exposed to Google Analytics while working in Buenos Aires at a study abroad organization after spending two years as a paralegal and pivoting away from her law school aspirations.

Outside of work, Lea loves to dance salsa/bachata in her living room with her 1.5 year old daughter and pursue her passion for the outdoors, mindfulness and youth mentoring. Lea majored in History (Latin American focus) and her two favorite courses that had the most lasting impact were "Intro to African-American Studies" and "History of Human Rights".
